Coronavirus Outbreak: High School Musical's Vanessa Hudgens Gets Criticised For Calling COVID-19 ‘Bulls**T’; Actress Offers An Apology
There’s no escape of coronavirus as it is growing and spreading rapidly. In this situation, people are locking themselves in their houses as that is better in the state of emergency. Amongst many, the High School Musical actress Vanessa Hudgens has also opted for self-isolation and as she had nothing to do, she went gone live on Instagram a while ago. In the live session, she spoke about the deadly coronavirus that is currently hovering over the entire world. However, the actress said that it sounds like a ‘bunch of bullshit.’

She was heard saying in her Instagram Live: "Yeah, till July sounds like a bunch of bullshit, I'm sorry. It's a virus, I get it. I respect it. But at the same time, like, even if everybody gets it like, yeah, people are gonna die, which is terrible. But, like, inevitable? I don't know, maybe I shouldn't be doing this right now." A twitter user recorded this section and made in viral on the internet.

This goes without saying, Hudgens soon had to face the anger of many and the backlash was so severe that she had to post an apology letter, admitting that her comments were insensitive.

"Hey guys, I'm so sorry for the way I have offended anyone and everyone who has seen the clip from Instagram Live yesterday. I realise my words were insensitive and not at all appropriate for the situation our country and the world are in right now. This has been a huge wake-up call about the significance my words have, now more than ever. I'm sending safe wishes to everyone to stay safe and healthy during this crazy time," she posted on Twitter.

According to a report in Times Of India, the outbreak of coronavirus got worse on Wednesday as 27 new cases were reported by 11 different states and Union territories. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 169 along with three deaths.
